Trusts and Companies Intensive

Trusts are the key to so many parts of modern life yet accountants and planners know very little on the details of trust laws, the machinations of trusts, who does what, who should not be involved and how to bloodline a trust up.  Not all trusts are the same as can be seen by a simple review of the distribution of income which is limited to "net income" for tax purposes, which is great as a default but never as a mandatory solution. Yet 90% of Australia's more than a million discretionary trusts rely on this rule.

 And companies are not all the same.  There are basic companies, special purpose corporate trustees for SMSFs and discretionary trusts plus advanced bucket companies that offer asset protection as well as tax minimisation - a hard task to put together in a company.

 In this two day session with Master Trainer Grant Abbott participants will be looking at a wide variety of case studies and latest cases dealing with companies and trusts.
